How To: Filter & Graph Results by Year
Another useful feature of SCC Online, is the ability to Filter results by year.
A new method of filtering results by year is now on SCC Online.
The Year Filter at the bottom has now been replaced by a graph that shows the spread of results found. The higher the graph, the more cases in that year.
The graph responds to changes in result tree and is dynamic whenever you apply a filter or refine your search further.
i.e. If your search is limited to High Court Judgments, then the graph will only display the result count for High Courts.
The two tabs on either end of the graph can be used to filter the results by moving them on the graph. A change in the position of these tabs, updates the results list by filtering the results to that period.
